Uluwatu & the far south
Everyone knows that the most stunning white sandy beaches in Bali are located in the far south - that little tip at the end when you look at a map of the island. The best way to explore the southern top is on a scooter from Jimbaran to Uluwatu, Ungasan and Nusa Dua - you’ll find one gorgeous beach after another, some easy to reach and some more difficult but rewarding. It comes as no surprise that there are some really cool beach clubs (as well as rock bars);
Sunday’s Beach Club
Located at the bottom of a high ocean cliff, Sunday’s Beach Club is secluded and wonderful. Park your bike on top of the cliff at Ungasan Clifftop Resort and you can head down to this beach club with water sports facilities, bonfires, live music soft white sands and the clearest waters, perfect for swimming.
